Essentially any pet collector will want both. If you have access to two accounts, you can put them right in the opposing AH if you are adapt at transferring your goods early in the morning through the neutral Auction House. Otherwise listing them in the neutral auction house isn't a bad move at all.
On the alliance side I see the lunar going for 3800 in my auction and 20k in the horde AH. So with doing no work besides a chain of characters, I could potentially make 16k profit. Also there's only going to be a limited number of them until next year! Prices might go somewhat higher after that.
The other fun fact is you don't even have to pay 3800 gold or whatever your server's price is to start up. You could simply just grind it out by doing the event. This would give you a nice amount of gold to start your own warcraft gold business.
Hm, I hadn't really thought about flipping them across factions... I had just considered farming/selling.
ReplyDeleteJust as a side note, you can only get 77 coins per character per year, so if you want both pets for a collection you are going to have to bust out an alt or buy one.
Since last night, the price in the alliance auction house rose to 24k for the horde ones and in the neutral a mere 14k. There's a fair number of pet collectors, especially with the new pet fighting game! Gotta collect them all! The demand for the horde pets is pretty huge on my server, but the alliance outnumber the horde. Unfortunately, on ED, it might be the other way around.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, you can only get one per character. I haven't checked the math, but any level 60 character might be easily doable with flying though if you don't mind long flight path rides, it could probably done even lower.
The event goes on until the 12th, so it is something to consider at least.
